Bon Bon Teardrop Earrings - Salmon

Bon Bon Teardrop Earrings - Salmon

R350.00 ZAR

The Bon Bon Teardrop Earrings gather small moments of colour and light into a soft, sculptural drop.

Each pair is assembled by hand, with faceted crystal beads gathered along the lower curve of a sculptural teardrop frame. The beads sit in small clusters, catching the light from different angles and creating a gentle shimmer as they move. The overall feeling is playful yet balanced. A composition of sparkle, texture, and air.

Suspended from a softly textured stud, the open teardrop shape keeps the earrings light and easy to wear. Worn alone, they offer a delicate statement; paired with other Marzipan pieces, they add a bright note of colour and light reflection within a layered look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the jewellery made from real gold or silver?

No, Marzipan jewellery is not made from solid gold or sterling silver.

We use high-quality, nickel-free brass and stainless steel components, often finished with 18-carat gold plating or sterling silver plating. These materials are chosen for their balance of durability, appearance, and wearability.

As with all plated jewellery, the finish will naturally evolve over time, especially with regular wear.

Will my Marzipan Jewellery tarnish?

Marzipan pieces are made to be worn, lived in, and enjoyed over time. We use thoughtfully selected, high-quality materials including stainless steel, gold- and silver-plated components. These components are carefully selected for their durability and resistance to everyday wear. Like all costume jewellery, the metal may gradually soften in colour or develop a natural patina with time. A little care goes a long way. Keeping your pieces away from water, perfumes, and lotions, and storing them thoughtfully when not in use, will help preserve their finish. With this kind of care, your Marzipan pieces can stay with you for years. If the metal begins to lose its shine, it can be gently revived with a polishing cloth.

Is Marzipan Jewellery suitable for sensitive skin or ears?

Yes. Marzipan Jewellery is designed to be gentle on the skin, and we’re mindful in our material choices.

Our pieces use Nickel-free stainless steel or brass components (often 18-carat gold or sterling silver plated), which are generally well-tolerated by most people. Nickel is the most common trigger when it comes to skin reactions from costume jewellery.

That said, sensitivity is very personal. Some individuals may still react to certain metals.

If you have highly sensitive skin or known metal allergies, we recommend choosing styles with minimal metal contact, or avoiding prolonged wear.
